Our goals for the youth strength & conditioning program are to enhance each young person’s physical and athletic development, improve their self-confidence, and encourage an active lifestyle. The program is great for those involved in soccer, baseball, softball, lacrosse, and other sports. In addition to helping improve their overall athletic performance the training also helps with injury prevention.
Our approach emphasizes fundamental movement skills: running, jumping, throwing, climbing, crawling, pushing, and pulling. In the younger age group the primary tool for the student will be their own body weight. Body weighted exercises plus dumbbells, barbells, and kettlebells may be used with the older group. Additional tools such as jump-rope, climbing ropes, power wheel, jump boxes, jungle gyms, medicine balls, chin-up bars, and dip bars will be used.

*Sport Specific Training:
What is it all about?
The sports-specific conditioning program addresses such skills as multi-directional speed, agility, power, explosiveness, and of course strength and endurance. Every athlete is built differently. Whether you are a middle school soccer player or “senior golfer”, our training program is for the individual who is seeking a better way to enhance their performance in their respective sport through very specific strength and conditioning techniques.
